Here at The Pink Roller, we are enthusiastic about learning! In our opinion there is no better way to learn than through hands on play. What better day to get into some classic play than on Pi Day! (Check out the link below for some super fun activities.)
National Pi Day is nationally celebrated on March 14th. It marks the day that the scientific community and the world recognize the mathematical constant of pi.
So what is Pi and why is it important?
Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, or approximately 3.14 and its used every day in some very important jobs. Here's an article from Honeywell that details how engineers use Pi in real life situations!
